My name is Terrie Mixon Houk Sheaffer.  I am going to try to do a fun website to show our amazing "Quin" heritage!  The exciting story begins with Irish Immigrants, Hugh and Margaret Quin, living in North Carolina in 1766.  I used my Grandmother, Ella Quin Alford Mixon as the central character, but we will go back and look at our ancestors and then move forward to our present day relatives, focusing on just our line of Quins.  All this rich history has been lovingly researched and stories, pictures and clippings carefully preserved by Ella Quin and her daughter (my mother) Marian Alford Mixon Houk!
