Below is another paper on Daniel Hillary Quin born 4/16/1821 in McComb. At the tender age of 15, he traveled by Steamboat, Railroad and Stage Coach to Kenyon College in Ohio to begin his academic instruction. He later went on to school in Philadelphia and became a physician.

Mary F. Quin was said to have been a model mother and very active Christian lady. My mother's name, Marian was in part to honor this wonderful lady.
D.H. Quin is buried in Summit, MS.
Percy is a long ago cousin of ours that became a Congressman! Write up on Percy below. My Grandmother, Ella Quin, visited him in Washington, D.C. in 1929! There is a beautiful State Park named after Percy in McComb. I hope to visit on day soon!
